Description

Taz wouldn't leave me alone to shoot flowers and instead insisted I give him some attention! I caught a rare moment where he stayed still...

Aw, kitty eye. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="15" height="15" alt=":aww:" title="Aww"/> These are massively overdone but I think your is better than the majority.
The focus is excellent and I like the shallow DOF - it makes the viewer really focus on the details around the pupil. The bokeh is pretty nice too.
The fact that the fur on the extreme right of the shot is also in focus is a little distracting, though - I know it's not your fault, but a bit of softening in this area might make it less noticeable. At the moment its taking some attention away from the pupil, which is a shame.
I quite like the colour of the eye, but if you boosted the saturation a little think it would really make the image pop. The reflection on the surface of the eye is quite distracting, but you can't do anything about that, so never mind.
I think the composition could be improved. The crop at the top of the frame is too tight - more space here would be nice. I think a bit of space could be cropped from the bottom too, to put the corner of his eye in the bottom right corner of the frame. That way the edges of the eye would lead the eye into the shot quite effectively.

You've got a nice shot, but there are a few little things that would make it even better, in my opinion. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="=)" title="=) (Smile)"/>
